Partner

Meredith Watts is a Partner at Brooks Law Partners, where she focuses her practice on catastrophic premises liability cases. In addition to her trial practice, Meredith also frequently serves as appellate counsel for all types of personal injury cases.

Since joining Brooks Injury Law in 2021, Meredith has achieved remarkable success, securing over $51 million for her clients in premises liability cases alone. This includes more than $28 million in negligent security cases and $2 million in cases where premises owners were held accountable for injuries to employees. Meredith has also demonstrated exceptional legal strategy by successfully defeating attempts by defense counsel to secure interlocutory appellate review of key trial court rulings in these cases, further establishing her reputation as a determined and skilled advocate.

A proud “Double Dawg,” Meredith earned both her undergraduate degree and J.D. from the University of Georgia, graduating magna cum laude. Her legal career has spanned a wide range of practice areas, from general commercial and construction litigation to personal injury, real estate, and intellectual property law.

Meredith is an active member of her community in Smyrna, where she lives with her two sons. Outside the office, Meredith can be found working on her deadlift at CrossFit South Cobb, training for a running race on the Silver Comet, cheering on the Atlanta Braves at Truist Park, or her favorite pastime, watching her own boys play baseball all over Georgia
